The University Health Service (UHS) provides confidential, high quality health care services for students and other members of the University community. The University Health Service offers a wide range of primary care services, including treatment for illnesses and injuries, management of ongoing medical problems, and care and advice for health concerns.

Access to care is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the calendar year. All visits to UHS are confidential.

The UHS Health Promotion Office offers free STI testing clinics throughout the semester in partnership with community organizations. You can sign up on their website. If none of the times work for you or if the clinic is full, you may always call UHS at 585-275-2662 to make an appointment with a provider for testing.

Planned Parenthood is one of the nation’s leading providers of high-quality, affordable health care, and the nation’s largest provider of sex education. With or without insurance, you can always come to us for your health care.

Planned Parenthood offers a great variety of services, including abortion, birth control, HIV services, men's health care, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing and services, primary care, STI testing and treatment, hormone therapy, and women's health care. In addition, their website contains lots of helpful educational information.

Trillium Health, a Community Health Center, provides extraordinary care for all, including LGBTQ+ health, ensuring equitable, judgement-free and affordable care. Trillium Health offers STI and HIV testing and prevention services. For LGBTQ+ folks, they offer a variety of support groups as well.

Our team provides a variety of health education and wellness programs. We focus on the topics that are most meaningful to our student body, including health equity, mental well-being, mindfulness, nourishment and body image, sexual health, and sleep.

We also collaborate with the campus community and support a variety of student-led health promotion initiatives during the academic year.

The Safe Sex Express is a program that delivers safer sex supplies and information to Rochester students’ CMC boxes. Students can request internal and external condoms, dental dams, finger cots, and lube. Supplies will be delivered within 5-7 business days. Sponsored by the UHS Health Promotion Office.
