The Greene Center provides students with the resources and tools needed to develop connections between their personal and professional aspirations, academic pursuits, and co-curricular experiences including on-campus employment, research activities, and internships. Students have access to one-on-one career exploration and industry advising appointments, peer advising through collaboration hours, graduate and professional school preparation, on and off-campus recruitment activities, internship funding for summer internships, programs and events, and alumni connections. The Greene Center has also built out its services and strategies for alumni engagement and stewardship, employer and industry engagement, operations, communications, and data management and visualization. The Greene Center aims to be integrated into other aspects of the College and University experience and continues to lead efforts for a coordinated approach to career education.

The Center for Experiential Learning (CEL) is an educational delivery system that supports and connects learning throughout the University of Rochester and UR Medical Center campus’. Building on the foundations of the Office of Educational Resources (OER) and the Office of Continuing Professional Education (CPE), the CEL provides enhanced educational services, such as curriculum design, assessment, educational research, and faculty development.

We create and support inter-professional educational programs and partnerships between Strong Memorial Hospital, Highland Hospital, Eastman Institute for Oral Health, the School of Nursing, School of Medicine and Dentistry, Nursing Practice, Graduate Medical Education, community providers, and beyond. Our activities are designed to provide healthcare providers at every stage in their careers with the information they need to improve their level of patient care.

We believe that music is not only an essential part of a quality education, but also a powerful contributor to quality of life. George Eastman created the Eastman Community Music School (ECMS) in 1921 for the enrichment of the residents of greater Rochester with the expectation that this experience should be available to everyone, regardless of age, musical background or ability to pay. The Eastman Community Music School, in collaboration with members of the collegiate division faculty, strives to:
